Died Monday, April 19, 2010 in Florissant, Missouri, at the age of 62. The cause of death is unknown. He was born September 2, 1947 to the late Wilbur and Cecelia Alfred. He was the dearest husband of the late Enid E. Scheppel Alfred; loving father of Denise (David) Hill; beloved grandfather of Kaitlyn Thurmon, Scott Thurmon, Lorelei Hill and Alexis Hill, and; the dear son inlaw of Mary and the late Harvey Scheppel. Skip was employed as a Rail Car Inspector with Metro East In dustries for 30 years. He was a member of the Overland Occidental Masonic Lodge #623, St. Charles Moose Lodge 2008 Fellowship Degree of Honor; Vietnam Veterans of America Florissant Chapter #794; Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., USA and a longtime supporter of the Sugarettes Baton Corps. Memorials may be made to Sugarettes Baton Corps, Visitation was from 10-11AM with a Loyal Order of Moose and Masonic Services at 11AM. Interment was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, Missouri.
