Samuel Diediker who resided in Los Angeles, California, passed away May 3, 1959, at a hospital there. He had been ailing for two years and was 67 years of age.
Mr. Diediker was born August 16, 1891, in Plymouth county and had been a carpenter. He lived in Plymouth county until 1942 when he moved to California.
On January 6, 1918, he was united in marriage with Dena Johnson in Plymouth county.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars with Rev. M.L. Straube officiating. Burial will be in the LeMars city cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Dena, of LeMars; children, Mrs. Robert Jones and Donald Diediker of LeMars; Mrs. Darrell Palmer of Akron and Henry Diediker of Battle Creek, Michigan; a sister Mr. H.F. Clasen of LeMars; and eight grandchildren.
