He is survived by his wife Mrs. Nancy Ann "Daisy" Rawlins Cook, and nine children: Clarence, Wilson, Riley, Ellis, Wesley, Virginia, Mervin, Leonard, and Melvin. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Katherine Cook of Lyra, and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Clara Crull of Cincinnati, Mrs. Laura Yuenger of Portsmouth, Mrs Pauline Heading of Athens, Mrs Louise Ramsey of Lyra,Phillip Cook of Cincinnati,Henry Cook of Columbus, George, and Jake Cook of Lyra, Albert, Adolph, and Carl Cook of Sciotoville, Ohio. The body is at the home of Mr. Cook's mother,Catherine Clara Marsh Cook,at Lyra. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of McCurdy and Scott.
