Mrs. Anderson Dead in West
Mrs. Miriam Hull Anderson, 35, a native of Des Moines, died of cancer Friday at her home at Los Angeles, Cal. She had been ill several months.
Her husband, Vernon J. Anderson, formerly with the national advertising department of The Des Moines Register and Tribune, has been west coast advertising manager for Look magazine since 1946.
Mrs. Anderson attended Ottumwa schools and was graduated from Roosevelt High School, Des Moines. She modeled at Younkers before her marriage in 1939. She was a member of Cottage Grove Avenue Presbyterian church while living here.
Survivors include her husband; a son, 12; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hull, 3333 Grand ave.; and a brother, John A. Hull, 5505 Westwood drive.
Her father, state agent for American Fore Insurance Group flew to Los Angeles Friday night for the funeral services and burial, Monday or Tuesday.
Her husband requested that no flowers be sent and instead that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mariam Carolyn Anderson, 35, of 527 S. Genesee Ave., will be conducted at 4 p.m. today at Pierce Bros. Hollywood Chapel, followed by private interment.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday at her home. She leaves her husband Vernon, a son, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hull, and a brother, John A. Hull. The family asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made for cancer research.
