On last Friday, the 23rd, Claude Chaplin, ages 6 months and 23 days, after a week of patient suffering, folded his little hands and peacefully slept the sleep of death. He was the first-born of Edwin and Clara Chaplin, of Barclay township. The remains of the little one were laid to rest in the Jesup cemetery, Saturday.
