Mrs. Albert Hamm, Sr.

Mrs. Ethel M. Hamm, 78, who lived with her son, Albert Hamm, Jr., at East Bald Eagle Street, died Sunday, November 11, 1962 at the Lock Hospital.
Mrs. Hamm, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Berry, was born at Sugar Run. She worked at the Bloomsburg Mills Inc. during World War II, and was a member of the Salvation Army.
Her husband, the late Albert Hamm, died in 1947.
Mrs. Hamm was survived by nine sons and daughters: Richard, McElhattan: Mrs. Sara Bauman, Lock Haven R.D. 1.; Mrs. Ethel Griffith, Williamsport; Albert, Jr., Donald, and Mrs. Gladys Myers, Lock Haven; Mrs. Louise Hamilton, Salladasburg; Fred, South Avis, and Robert, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
There were also 40 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Berry, Lock Haven, and a sister. Mrs. Carrie Simcox, Salladasburg.
Funeral services were held at the Helt Funeral Home, Lock Haven, with Brigadier Lloyd Brown, of the Salvation Army, officiating.
Interment was in Dunnstown Cemetery.
