Mrs. Sadie Brashear, of Zelienople, passed away on Tuesday at the Rochester General hospital after an illness of two weeks. She had been in failing health for sometime. Mrs. Brashear is survived by one brother, James Lackey and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Wehman and Mrs. Louis Smiley, all of this city. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock EST from the late home. Burial will be made in Locust Grove cemetery.--Aug. 9, 1939 New Castle News.
