Mrs. Katherine Philpott Leonard, 89, died Jan. 10 at Azalealand Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Savannah and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
SURVIVORS: four grandchildren, Kathleen L. Hall and Moira L. Sherrill, both of Savannah, Cecilia L. O'Connor of Montana and Leslie L. Singer of Atlanta; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, burial in Catholic Cemetery. Savannah Now, Jan 1999
