Johanna Hanna Wilhelmina Schmidt-Hecker

Mrs. Adam Hecker, 74, of Rt. 1, Valders, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Valders Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert Onkka officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hecker, nee Johanna Schmidt, was born Aug. 5, 1887, at Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Fred and Marie Waack Schmidt.

She married Adam Hecker, May 23, 1918, at Valders.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving is one son, Elmer, at home, and two sisters, Miss Mary Schmidt and Miss Lena Schmidt, of rural Manitowoc, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Christianson Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, after 3 p.m.Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday when the casket will be moved to the church where thebody will lie in state until the hour of service.
