Pvt. Glen C. Allen, 20, was killed in action in Belgium on Dec. 31 [1944], the War Department having notified his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allen of Blossom.
In the service since 1940, he had been overseas since July, 1943 with an engineering unit.
Born in Clarksville March 4, 1924, he attended high school in Blossom.
Besides his parents, survivors include two brothers, Tommy Allen of Blossom, and Staff Sgt. Thomas Allen who is with the Army in France, and one sister, Mrs. John Solomon of Dallas.
