They moved up and down the west coast during their married life, from San Diego to Alaska.
In 1940, her husband, Harold, died. She later married Jack Skantz in about 1953.
She died at the age of 93 on December 28, 1965, in San Diego, California, and is buried at Greenwood Memorial Park under the name Georgie Savage Skantz.
