BARBARA FRANK

STRICKEN WHILE ON VISIT TO DILLWYN, KAN.
TWO RIVERS, Sept. 19—On September 1st, Mr. and Mrs. August Frank left this city with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Thurow and Mrs. Melachek, who had been here to visit them. The party went to Dillwyn, Kansas, where Mr. and Mrs. Frank expected to spend the winter with the Thurows. The party had a very pleasant trip and all were in good health and spirits. The day after they arrived at Dillwyn, Mrs. Frank was stricken and died after being ill only a day. The remains were accompanied to this city by the bereaved husband.
Mrs. August Frank, who before her marriage was Barbara Trousil, was born in Bohemia on August 16, 1861. At the age of four years she came to this country with her parents who settled in Kewaunee county.
In 1881 she was married to August Frank and the couple had made this city their home since 1916. Mrs.
Frank is survived by her husband and two sons and three daughters, Adolph and Edward of this city, Mrs. Wm. Thurow of Dillwyn, Kansas, Mathilda Walacheck of Kewaunee and Mrs. George Froelich of this city. She is also survived by three sisters and six grandchildren.
