Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 8, from the Senne Funeral Home for Albert James Gage, 89, who moved to Maywood in 1909 and lived at 714 N. 4th Avenue for the past 50 years.
Mr. Gage passed away on February 6th. He retired in 1940 after 52 years of service in the Passenged Dept. of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway.
He was an active member in the First Methodist Church of Maywood as assistant superintendent of their Sunday School, and member emeritus of the Official Board, as well as a member of the church choir.
Husband of the late Alice and father of the late Eleanor Haupt, Mr. Gage is survived by grandchildren Shirley Picerno and Norman Haupt and four great grandchildren.
