Warren Lee Hoops age 84, of LaFollete. passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014.

Preceded in death by parents, Harley and Ila Hoops; sisters, Onjunita Hoops and June Hoops Hinkle. He was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church, and was a Sunday school teacher in Ohio and Michigan.

He was graduate of Farmersville High School received his bachelor's degree at GMI in Flint, Michigan. Received the Sloan Award and earned his Master Degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

He retired from General Motors as the director of quality control of Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac division.

Survivors Wife Betty Lucile Crane Hoops Son Bennett and wife Sandy Hoops, Pompino Beach Florida Daughter Cynthia and Husband Gary Carter, Jacksboro Grandchildren: Ashley Ann Carter, Amanda Renee Carter, Jaqueline Ila Hoops, and Austin Daniel Hoops Brother: Marvin and Charmaine Hoops, Ohio

Funeral services 2 PM Tuesday at Cross-Smith Chapel Rev. Don Thomas officiating
