Raymond "Ray" Martin Davis, resident of Denham Springs, LA, and native of Amite, LA passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Verna; son, Greg and wife, Rhonda; grandson, Zackary; granddaughter, Haley; sister-in-law, Lena Palombo; step-children, Anna Ivanyisky and family, Frederic Trahan and family, and Otto Maurer of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie and Lillian Short Davis; 2 sisters, Dora Lee Chavers and Odelia Euggino; 2 brothers, James William Davis and Royce Edward Davis. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. He retied from Frito Lay, Inc. with 33 years of service. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Monday, Oct. 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard Blanchard, Delbert Price, Gene Manuel, Frank Mire, Chuck Taylor, Steve Stathes, Rae Atkins, Craig Cain, and Jerry Torras. In lieu of flowers, Ray requests donations to the Cancer Center of Baton Rouge.
