Mrs. Catherine Ritenour, 82 years old, a well known and highly respected woman of the Indian Creek Valley died Sunday in the home of her son, Richard Ritenour, in Melcroft, following a week's illness from pneumonia
She was the widow of David Ritenour, who died 21 years ago. Ten of her 15 children survive in addition to 56 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Mary Anse of Brownsville is a sister.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at the home of her son.
A brief service will be held at 10 o'clock followed by service at 1 o'clock in the church of God at Indian Head. Interment will be made in Mount Zion Cemetery.
