Phyllis Angel Justice, 81, of 30 Forest Street, Asheville, N.C. passed away Saturday, March 15, after an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Augusta Murray Angel. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sammie Lou Anderson, Hazel Fleming and Mary Gragg; and one brother, Grover L. Angel.
She was survived by her husband of 63 years, Vaughn H. Justice; one daughter, Gayle Clark; two grandchildren, Darrell and Kevin Carter; five great-grandchildren, Levi and Sarah Carter, April Swayngim and Talana and Amanda Hamm; one great-great-grandchild, Chelsea Swayngim; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 Highway 213, Mars Hill. The Rev. Sue Fitzgerald officiated. Burial was in the Gardner-Gillis Cemetery.
