BERNARD, IOWA -- Clarence R. Waller, 78, of rural Bernard, died Saturday morning, July 17, 1999, at home. Services will be at 10:30am Wedneday at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Clair Odell, of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque.
Friends may call from 3 to 9pm today at the funeral home.
Mr. Waller farmed in the Bernard area with his wife for 45 years, retiring in 1993.
He was born on January 13, 1921, in Key West, son of Roy and Bertha Hartman Waller. He married Alberta Heister on September 21, 1953, in Maquoketa.
His hobbies were enjoying his family, playing cards, dancing, hunting, horses, horse sales and attending rodeos.
