Daniel L. Snyder Dies at Residence
Daniel L. Snyder. 61, retired Malden merchant, who operated a general merchandising store in that town for 25 years, died at 1:30 a.m. yesterday at his home after an illness of six months.
He was born at Malden, the son of the late Daniel B. and Isabella Lewis Snyder. He was a member or Kanawha Salines Presbyterian Church, Malden.
Mr. Snyder retired in 1945 because of ill health.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wheeler Canterbury Snyder; a son, W. B., and a daughter, Mrs. J. B. Meredith, both of Malden, and three grandchildren.
The body is at Barlow Mortuary and will be taken to the residence this afternoon.
Service will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow in Kanawha Salines Presbyterian Church. Rev. Curry Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
