Mary was the eldest of seven children born to Pete Billinger and Anna Dinkel.
A lifetime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, she married the “love of her life” Albert Herrman on April 23, 1946 at the church.
Mary worked at Kuner-Empson Company for 14 years then at Gates Cyclo for 14 years. Dedicated to her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Some of her “favorite things” included camping, fishing (where she surpassed any competitor) gardening, reading, cats and dogs, sewing, and politics. She had a passion for flowers and plants, cooking, and current events. The daily newspaper was an absolute followed by her love of continuous education on many subjects. She favored browsing a menagerie of catalogs on a continuing basis. She also had an obedient love for the Lord.
Survivors beside her husband of 68 years included: her daughter Stephanie (Ken) Jump of Arvada; sister Lorraine (Merle) Roedel, Brighton; grandsons Brian (Dawn) Stanley, Parker and Kent (Tracey) Stanley, Castle Rock; and great-grandchildren Victoria, James, Brianna, and Nathan. Preceding included: her parents; brothers Benedict, Theodore, Eugene, and Alvin; and baby sister Ludsena.
Mass of Christian Burial held October 31 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Reception followed at St. Augustine Parish Life Center. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
