Former Member of Wholesale Saddlery Firm Was 69 Years Old
George Wetherill Hansell died yesterday at his home, Lancaster avenue above Gordon avenues, Haverford. He was 69 years old and formerly a member of the firm of William S. Hansell & Sons, wholesale saddlery, which as established in 1910 by Mr. Hansell's grandfather and continued at 131 Mraket street until August, 1920.
Mr. Hansell was a trustee of the Lower Merion Baptist Church, Bryn Mawr, for a number of years, and was a member of the board of managers of the Central Branch of the YMCA isnce 1882. A son, G. Forde Hansell, and a daughter, Helen, survive him. Mr. Hansell was the son of the late Barnett and Rebecca Wetherill Hansell, who were well known in this city. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from his home in Haverford.
