Wilbur "Bruce" Hull Sr., 72 of Crump, TN passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the home of his daughter in LaVergne, TN. Bruce was born in Pittsfield, IL on June 26, 1942 a son of the late Donald Andrew and Mable Josephine Cawthon Hull. Bruce grew up in New Salem. He married Melissa Coleman and she survives.

Bruce was a self employed carpenter. He loved fishing, hunting, working on vehicles and especially loved being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; sons, Wilbur Bruce Hull, Jr.; Timothy Hull; Andrew Hull; Darrin Hull and Jacob Hull; and a daughter, Pamela West. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive in addition to siblings; Earl (Sharon) Hull; Roger (Shelly ) Hull; and Otha (Stacy) Hull; Ida (Gary) Lawber; Della (Bruce) Rush; Sheila Deverger and Jewell Warren.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Chuck and two sisters, Pat and Jean.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Gray Cemetery near New Salem with Jim Jacques officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Gray Cemetery. A lunch for family and friends will be held at the New Salem Town Hall after the service.
