Lydia was born in Juniata Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania to Levi and Sophia (Corbin) Enyeart.

She married first to Robert S. Goudy on 26 April 1847 in Wabash County, Indiana. He was born in 1812 and died 3 February 1854. They were the parents of two children: Levi Benton and Laura Ellen.

Next she married George Bidwell on 29 July 1854 in Wabash County, Indiana. He was born in 1825 and died 6 July 1871. They were the parents of six children: Andrew Jackson, Joseph William, Sarah, William F., John S. and Martha Matilda Ann.

Lydia married a third time to Joseph C. Vandyne on 20 November 1877 in Wabash County, Indiana. He was born in 1823 and died 26 September 1887.

A fourth marriae was to Charles Armnstrong on 15 July 1894 in Antwerp, Paulding County, Ohio. He was born 28 August 1840 and died 12 December 1895.

It's not certain just where Lydia died nor where she was buried. In the 1900 census, she is listed as Liddie Armstrong. She is a widow. It has she was mother of 14 children with only four children living.
