A Fatal Shock

Mrs. Mary Ann Asbury, wife of Henry Asbury, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Capper, at No. 28 South Jardin Street. Mrs. Asbury lived at Mahanoy Plane. On Monday last the flood was so great that it threatened her home. This so frightened her, and her condition on account of previous illness was such that convulsions were brought on, and they resulted fatally. The deceased was 27 years of age. She is survived by a son, 16 months old, and her husband.

A Funeral

the funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Ann Asbury took place this afternoon from the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Capper, on South Jardin Street. The remains were interred in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery.
