Grace Ellen (Dick) Hines died at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital at the age of 88.
She was born in the New Hope community of Pulaski County. She was a retired head cook at Somerset Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Hines of Somerset, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Bill W. Hines II, Grant Hines, Craig Hines and Jeremy Hines, all of Somerset, Kentucky; and four great-grandchildren, Makailyn, Korey, Gretchen, and Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelotus Dick and Ever (Cooper) Dick; her husband, Ottie Cecil Hines (married May 30, 1937); her sons, Bill W. Hines, Sr. and Cecil Hines; her brothers, Alonzo Dick, Ray Dick and Hoy Dick; and her sisters, Martha Patterson, Mary Denham, and Bessie Patterson.
Funeral services were held on January 2, 2002 at the Somerset Undertaking Company with Brother Coy Gene Cox officiating.
