Francis Aaron Wyrick, 71, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Memorial Park.

A Guilford County native, he was retired from Nabisco and was a member of the Greensboro Church of Christ.

As a boy I remember at the time Uncle Aaron's house was one of the most visited homes at Christmas time as he went all out with the lights and decorations, and there lines of cars going down his street to see them. In contrast to his neighbor across the street at the time, Max, who decorated everything in solid blue, Aaron did his in multi color style with music bringing a festive competitive style to the season.

Surviving at the time of his death were his son, James Milton Wyrick of Greensboro; brothers, Claude S. Wyrick Jr. of Greensboro, and Ted Wyrick of Graham; two nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Sherlin Wyrick.

The family received friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Wyrick, 4200 Fairside Drive, following the service.
