Daniel Ray Adkins, 51, of Hurricane, WV, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery, Dunlow, WV. He was born August 6, 1953 in Huntington, WV, a son of Katherine Sullivan Adkins of South Point, OH and the late Ralph Adkins. Daniel was a truck driver for Nabisco. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Joseph, Michael and John Adkins; a sister, Joyce Baker. Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis Copley-Adkins; a son, Trey Copley of Hurricane, WV; a daughter, Alicia Adkins of Huntington, WV; ten sisters, Betty Harless, Gloria Harless, Wanda Harless, Mary Freeman, Martha Hager, Brenda McGowen, Carolyn Plybon, Cindy Pike, Kimberly Frazier, Francis Musser; two brothers, David Adkins and Ezra Adkins. Friends may call one hour prior to services at Morris Funeral Home.
