Adon "Lil Donnie" Boatwright Jr., 20, of Syracuse, departed this life Saturday. He is survived by one daughter, Jazmin Aniya Boatwright (Maya); his mother, JoeAnn Starling; his father and stepmother, Adon and Tirza Boatwright, Sr.; six sisters, Donniqua Boatwright, Shyquasia Wilson, Cha'Breia Boatwright, Shadora Boatwright, Adoncia Boatwright, and Denijiah Boatwright; five brothers, Kerry and Andrew Butler, Myquan, Adonis and Ladon Boatwright; maternal grandmothers, Louise Starling and Cherry Pennymon; paternal grandparents, Mary Otero and Robert Boatwright; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, one nephew, cousins (Kasia) and friends. Calling hours will be Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Southside COGIC, 1327 West Colvin St., with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
