Hinsdale, Aug. 22 - Dr William Franklin Wright, 74, a native of this town, son of Charles and Martha Wright, and uncle of Asst-District Atty Charles H Wright of Pittsfield, died Friday at his home in New York. He was born in the house now owned by T.W. Smith of Maple street and was graduated from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1879 and practiced medicine in New York from that time until his death. He is survived by his widow who was Louise Ryder of Brooklyn, N.Y., a son William R Wright, a sister Mrs John A Rice of North Adams who is the last remaining member of his family. The Masonic lodge of which he was a member had charge of the funeral held tonight at his home in New York. The body will be brought to Hinsdale tomorrow afternoon for burial in Maple-street cemetery.
