GOOD CHRISTIAN WOMAN DEAD.

Mrs. Clematina Sullivant, Who Lived
South of the City, Passed Away This
Morning at an Early Hour.

From Friday's Daily.

Mrs. Clemantina Sullivant, wife of Lucas Sullivant, a farmer who resides in the stone house south of the old fair grounds, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock at the family home, after a comparitively short illness. The cause of death was nervous prostration. She was 66 years of age and leaves a bereaved husband and one daughter to mourn her death. Miss Sullivant is a stenographer and works at the Fort Scott Syrup Company's factory.

The deceased had been a resident of the county for many years and is well known in the city and in the neighborhood where she lived. She was a good, Christian woman, being a member of the First Christian church of this city, and had led a good life. Her many noble deeds here on earth will remain as a monument to her memory. Those who knew Mrs. Sullivant alone can appreciate her worth in the community. She was well educated, having had an early college training, and was well accomplished in literature. Consulting her about the matter was like going into a well equipped library. She always kept posted on current events and was a most pleasing and entertaining conversationalist.

The funeral will be held tomorrow and the body will be shipped to her old home at Columbus, Ohio. The funeral party will leave here tomorrow.
