ADOLPH J. KUNZ

Adolph Kunz, 77, a resident of the Village of Mishicot, died Tuesday morning,
Dec. 27, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Herbert Kesting will officiate and burial will be
in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Mr. Kunz was born April 4, 1906, in the Town of Stark, son of the late Gottfried
and Rosie Kohout Kunz. He was a foreman with the Manitowoc County Highway
Department, retiring in 1971. He married 1934, at St. John Lutheran Church,
Gibson. The couple resided at Mishicot the rest of their lives. Mr. Kunz was a
member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot and served on the
church council. He was a trustee for the Village of Mishicot for several terms.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline, two son (sic) and daughters-in-law, Paul
and Diane Kunz of Manitowoc and Dan and Vicky Kunz of La Crosse; two brothers,
John Kunz of Rockwood and Leo Kunz of Madison and seven grandchildren, Becky,
Thad, Melanie, Jeremy, Joshua, Jessie and Rachel. He was preceded in death by
a sister and a brother.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday
and Friday at the church from noon until the time of services. Memorials may be
made to Manitowoc Lutheran High School or the American Cancer Society.

omitted that he married Adeline Ullman on Nov. 21, 1934, at St. Joseph Lutheran
Church, Gibson.
