Virginia Ruby Bolton, 94, went to be with our Lord on January 22, 2016. She was born January 21, 1922 in Avoca Iowa. She had been a resident of San Bernardino for 60 years and later relocated to Grants Pass, Oregon to be with her daughter and son in law until her passing. She died at home surrounded by her family.
Virginia was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Forest Bolton, brother Gordon Hadley, sister Doris McCubbin, sons Larry and Michael Bolton, and grandson Darren Bolton. She is survived by 2 sisters Mabel Johnson and Mary Kathryn McPheeters; 2 daughters and son in-laws, Janette Sinn (Gordy Sinn) and Debbie Britton (Bob Britton); 9 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Virginia was compassionate and was known for being accepting of everyone she met. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, CA.
