He was retired maintenance worker with Louisville Tin and Stove and a member of Okolona Christian Church. Mr. Cartwright was an Army veteran.
Mr. Cartwright was preceded in rest by his wife, Dorothy Cartwright.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Skrine (Rick) and Donna Binion (James); five grandchildren, Michelle, Tiffany, Heather, Wesley and Emily; and 10 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
