He is survived by his son, Pete (Christine) Richards; daughter, Susan (William) Homoky; grandchildren, Mike and Cate Richards; brother, John Richards; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Ralph proudly served our country in the United States Army, and worked for over 40 years at U.S. Steel.
After retirement, Ralph split his time between Northwest Indiana and Florida and enjoyed travel, photography, motorsports, Civil War history, and time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of American Legion Post 66, Masonic Lodge 735, and the Order of the Scottish Rite.
Ralph was a loving father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched.
