Roderick Gorman, 57, of Flagler Beach, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014. Born in Medford, MA, he came here in 1981 from Newburyport, MA. He graduated from Triton Regional High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts. He was a retired educator from Pinellas County Schools where he served for nearly 30 years. Rod was also a passionate coach & former Pinellas County Baseball Coach of the year. In addition, he was a Florida licensed real estate broker. Rod was a fitness enthusiast, avid outdoorsman and ardent cyclist. He also enjoyed horticulture. He will be remembered for his gregarious, upbeat and outgoing personality and especially his love of family.
