Marian Wynn, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She was born August 7, 1941 to Ivan and Opal Conn in Thayer, Iowa. She was a member of Neighborhood Associations, PTA and volunteer at Capitol View Elementary School. She loved gardening and helped transplant flowers at the Botanical Center. She is survived by her daughters, Chris (Jeff) Steele and Rhonda Suzanne (Taed) Wynnell; son, Paul Conn; brothers, Dale and Maurice Conn; granddaughter, Tiphany (David) Rumage; Grandsons, Ryan, Keb, Eric, Joe and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Austin and Audrey Rumage, Samantha, Chase and Willie VanBlaricum; as well as her furry children. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wynn; son, Michael Wynn; grandson, T.J. VanBlaricum; sisters, Doris, Helen and Irene; brothers, Robert and Richard; and her parents. Memorial Visitation will be held, 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Private burial will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
