Rev. M. C. Nelson, pastor of the Enon church was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Enon church cemetery with the Colonial Funeral Home of Columbia in charge.
Mrs. Carney leaves a step-son, Hollis Carney, with whom she made her home and two step-daughters, Mrs. Recie Thames and Mrs. Wood Summers.
She had lived in Texas for some years but formerly lived in Walthall and Lawrence counties.
