HIS WORK ENDED Death of One of Long Beach's Successful Business Men
Long Beach, Feb. 21.—A. B. Adams, a successful merchant and prominent citizen, died Tuesday of cancer in the stomach. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Charles Pease at the Corfgregationai church at 2 p. m. today. The Knights of Pythias took charge of the remains. Mr. Adams was a native of Minnesota, 50 years of age, and leaves a wife, two children, two brothers and other near relatives. The following gentlemen, Knights of Pythias, acted as pall bearers: Harry Barndollar, R. M. Lynn, C. J. Walker, J. H. Torrey, Will Faber and Captain Farnsworth.
