Mildred R. Blank, age 94, formerly of Dundalk, MD, passed away on November 5, 2014. Born in Delta, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Agnes Williams Montgomery and wife of the late Robert Vernon Blank. Her first husband, James ("Jack") Leftwich died in 1946 after surviving a POW Camp in Germany.
During WWII, she worked at Edgewood Arsenal and in 1948 the Montgomery family founded the Ball Park Diner in Street.

Mrs. Blank is survived by her daughters, Shirley Swinski (Bob), Lawana Towner, Barbara Eaton (Rusty) and Ann Roelecke (Jeff); sister, Hilda Montgomery; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sons, Jerry and Franklin Leftwich.
