Rites Monday For Mrs. Gustav Olin
Johana Mathilda (sic.) Olin, native of Sweden, died at 10:28 p. m. yesterday at her home on Benton road. She was 88 years one month and 16 days of age. Mrs. Olin was the widow of Gustav Olin, also a native of Sweden, who preceded her in deat in 1942. Funeral services will be held at Myers Chapel at 2 p. m. Monday, with the Rev. E. C. Michels officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood. Mrs. Olin was born March 1, 1866 and had made her home on Benton road for the past 35 years. Surviving are four sons, Albert, Ernie and Charles of Birmingham, Mich., and Harry of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Freeman (Lucille) Spurlock of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Pearl Hutchison of Mt, Vernon; Twenty grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 2 p. m. Sunday.
