Louise N. DeYoung, 79, of 1661 West Bancroft St. a veteran of the Spanish- American War, died yesterday in Veteran Hospital, Fort Custer, Mich., after a one month illness.
Born in the Netherlands, Mr. DeYoung came to Toledo when he was 11, He operated the DeYoung Auto Repair Shop on West Bancroft St. for 28 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Egbert Camp, United Spanish War Veterans.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. John Wessel, Toledo, and Mrs. C.C. Overmyer, Haddonfield. N.J. and two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 2;30 in Emmanuel Church. Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
