Arnold Craig HINCKLEY, age 94, of Seattle, passed away on May 15, 2004. He was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on May 12, 1910. Arnold served in the U.S. Navy Seabees 51st Battalion during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and the Aleutian Islands. Mr. Hinckley worked as a Civil engineer for Standard Oil Company of California. He retired in 1971. Arnold was a member of the Masonic Live Oak Lodge of Oakland, California. Mr. Hinckley was a world traveler, he enjoyed working with wood, fishing, talking with people and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Arnold is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Sherley M. Hinckley, three sons, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren [survivors names omitted].
