Cynthia Rose Hood Scroeder, 41, of Earl Park, died Saturday morning, Sept. 1, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for nine months.
She was born in Rensselaer on April 19, 1966, to Dallie M. Caudill Hood-Pizer and the late James Donald Hood. She was educated at South Newton High School.
Mrs. Schroeder was a cashier and waitress for area restaurants and worked in the kitchen of area nursing homes. She attended the Brook Christian Church, and enjoyed crafts and antiques.
Surviving with her mother are children, Tiffany Goss of Earl Park, William Andrew Ferrell of Muncie, and Johnathon Evertt Ferrell and Brandi Ferrell, both of Lafayette, siblings, Timothy Allen Hood of Brook, Randy Hood (wife: Belinda) of Goodland, Robert James Hood of Swanington, Steven Scott Hood of Boswell and Angelia Goodwin (husband: Timothy) of Lafayette. Two grandchildren also survive.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at STEINKE FUNERAL HOME. Pastor Ken Marsh officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Brook.
