My Simon was my baby. He was an awesome little cat. He was a beautiful Bengal with a black spotted belly that won my heart from the first moment I saw him. He was just 4 weeks old and he was so little he could walk right under a wooden pallet. I brought him home at 7 weeks and he was my Sweetie ever since.
Simon wasn't the friendliest cat, but he was really unique and he loved his mama. Some of his favorite things were tuna, which is true for most cats. But his next favorite thing was marshmallows! He would come from anywhere in the house if you even touched the marshmallows, how he always knew we had no idea. A particular favorite, other than the mini ones, was the ones in a box of Lucky Charms. Another of Simon's favorites was Pringles potato chips, but they had to be the sour cream and onion chips. Such a funny little guy.
Simon loved to sit at the window, and to go out with me whenever possible. He used to run Saturday morning errands with me and loved the car rides.
Simon passed away pretty young and it was very quick. He was suddenly having a hard time breathing. The vet said he had heart disease, that his chest was filled with fluid and he was in heart failure while at the appointment. They did their best to drain the fluid and send him to a cardiologist, but that was not to be. My baby passed away that day so sudden and unexpectedly, it just broke my heart.
I entrusted him to the care the Faithful Companion Pet Services. It was the best decision for us because the care couldn't have better. I miss my boy, but at least I have him back with me now at home.
