She was born in Streeter, Summers County, West Virginia on 8 Nov 1934 to Pearl Bryan and Ruby Violet Cooper Pack.
She was preceded in death by a brother Curtis Pack. Frances was retired from the Christiansburg Police Department. She graduated from Hinton High School in 1952.
She is survived by her husband Leslie Carl Okes, a daughter and son-in-law, two sons and daughters-in-laws, two brothers and sister-in-law, Jack Pack of Jumping Branch, W.Va., Jim and Lillian Pack of Nimitz, W.Va.; four grandchildren. Aunts Macie Basham of White Oak W.Va., and Ora Pack of Medina, Ohio; good friends, Bessie Cook, Cheryl Jennelle, and Clara Dobbins; several nieces and nephews; and cousin, Cooter Farley.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 7 Apr 2006 in the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor with Elder Tommy Pack officiating. Interment will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery, Nimitz, W.Va.
