Mae E. Murray Of Cincinnatus Succumbs Today

Mrs. Mae E. Murray, 84, of Cincinnatus died early this morning in Cortland Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born May 5, 1889 in Union Valley, the daughter of Charles and Julia Dutcher Eaton, and had resided in the Cortland County area all her life. For the past 20 years she had lived in Cincinnatus. Mrs. Murray was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Cincinnatus, and a founding member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the parish. Her husband, Thomas Murray, died in 1966. Surviving are a brother, Harry Eaton of Binghamton, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Black Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, and at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, where a mass of resurrection will be offered by the Rev. John Comesky. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cortland. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where there will be a recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m.
