She married 1st William Grady Wright 23 Jan 1927 in Cullman County, Alabama. They had 4 children; William Jack, Wilbur A, Wanda June, Wallace Ray. She married 2nd Simeon Bryan Sheffield 19 Mar 1971 in Sarasota, Florida.

She is the daughter of Julius Jacob Eli Lambert and Saphronia Ellen Josephine "Fronie" Tenneyson. The paternal granddaughter of Lewis Franklin Pierce Lambert and Margaret Missouri Williamson.
