Olympic Gold Medalist (1924 Ice Hockey). Ernie Collett was a goaltender for the Toronto Granites, who represented Canada in the 1924 Winter Olympics. He appeared in two games, winning both. Collett had previously been part of the Granites' Allan Cup winning team. He continued in hockey as a referee in the Ontario Hockey Association intermediate series (1926-32).
