Mary T. Bridge, plaintiff, vs. Henry C. Bridge, defendant
Plaintiff states that on the 15th day of August, 1870, in Newton County, Missouri, she was lawfully married to the defendant as his wife, from and after the day and year aforesaid, until the 10th day of January, 1898; that during all of that time plaintiff faithfully demeaned herself, and discharged all her duties as the wife of defendant, and at all times treated him with kindness and affection; but the said defendant, wholly disregarding his duties as the husband of the plaintiff, did on the date last above mentioned desert and leave this plaintiff without any just cause or excuse, and has ever since said date absented himself from this plaintiff without any just or reasonable cause or excuse, for the space of more than one year.
Plaintiff further states that she is now a resident of the county and state aforesaid, and has resided in this state more than one whole year next before the filing of this petition.
Plaintiff therefore prays to be divorced from the bonds of matrimony contracted as aforesaid with the defendant, and for all other relief to which she may be entitled.
