Centerville, GA- Claude Eugene Braddy (Gene), 78, passed away on November 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2014, at 11 AM, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Al Haywood to officiate.
He was born June 12, 1936 in Macon, Georgia to the late James and Sarah Braddy. He is preceded in death by his brother Fred Braddy. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Msgt after 20 years of service where he served his country proudly.
Mr. Braddy is survived by his loving wife Martha Jean Braddy, Centerville; daughters, Sharon Braddy, (Pace Florida), Angela Jones, Destin Florida; Jean Hopper, Navarre Florida; sons, Michael Braddy, Philippines; Jamie (Denise) Braddy, LaCoste, Texas; Randy ( Joanne) Braddy, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; step-son, Lewis Hughes, Americus, GA; step-daughter, Becky Hughes, Preston, GA; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Sherry (James) Rainey, Woodstock Georgia.
